Radon Testing

Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that is colorless, odorless, and tasteless and therefore cannot be detected by our senses. When foundations are dug for homes or commercial buildings, the radon collects under the slab on the lowest level. The gas, which cannot be detected by our senses, can seep through cracks and voids in the foundation and collect into the areas occupied by humans.

Radon is a health threat because it can accumulate in homes and cause lung cancer. Long-term radon exposure is the second leading cause of lung cancer behind smoking.

Home Land Labs is a third-party testing company; we do not perform mitigation work. We offer the most dependable radon testing on the market. Our 48-hour continuous radon monitors are calibrated and performance tested annually to ensure the most accurate and fastest test results available. Our Lab Director and lead radon professional, Kevin Barnaba, is a Licensed Environmental Health Specialist and is certified to conduct radon testing by the NRSB.

Homeowners, Real Estate Professionals & Property Managers

If you'd like to have your home or property tested for radon, our sister company, Home Land Environmental, offers radon testing services in Maryland and Pennsylvania.
